시인처럼 말하기/ 클라라의 묵상글
공자(Confucius)의 가르침 중에 不學詩無以言(불학시무이언) 이라는 말씀이 있다
‘시를 배우지 않고는 말을 하지 않는것이 낫다‘ 는 뜻이다
동네 골목길을 걷는중 ..
카페앞 벤치에 적힌 이런 팻말을 보았다
‘ 여기에 앉지 마세요! 여기는 아무나 앉는 동네 벤치가 아닙니다 ㅠㅠ ’
카페의 벤치에 쉬어 가는 염치없는 행인들에 대한 주인의 불편한 마음을 충분히 이해할 수 있었다
하지만..
나는 이런 말로 바꾸면 어떨까 생각해 본다
’멋진 당신은 여기에 앉을 자격이 충분해요!
우리 카페의 향기로운 커피한잔과 함께라면 더 더욱… ^^ ‘
말한마디로
내가 ’아무‘ 가 되기도 하고
’멋진 사람’이 되기도 하니 ..
不學詩無以言 불학시무이언
나는 생각해본다!
우리모두 시인처럼 생각하고 말을 한다면
세상은 좀더 아름다울거라고..

speaking like a poet / Clara’s Contemplation
Confucius, an Eastern philosopher says ‘不學詩無以言’
That means, 'it is better not to speak unless you learn poetry'!
I'm walking down the alleys of my neighborhood...
I saw this sign on a bench in front of a cafe
‘Don’t sit here! It's a bench of cafe private property.’
I could understand the cafe owner's displeasure at passers-by, resting on cafe bench
but..
I wonder what it would be like to change it to something like this
’ What a wonderful you! You deserve a seat here! Even better with a fragrant cup of coffee in our cafe... ^^'
With one word
I can be a 'rude somebody'
Or a ‘wonderful person'
不學詩無以言(it is better not to speak unless you learn poetry)
I think…
If we thank and speak like poets
The world would be more beautiful...
